PEET'S COFFEE

Before there was a Starbucks or legions of boutique coffee roasters, there was Alfred Peet. Opening his first coffee bar in 1966, Mr. Peet was hellbent on one thing: roasting the very best, premium coffee he could find.

The branding for Peet’s needed to embrace the originality and integrity of its founder as a way to stand out from the onslaught of modern coffee roasters. Inspired by his bravado, I used timeless type, saturated color palettes and nuanced design elements to get the Peet’s brand back to its true heritage, infusing it with the gutsy, pure-Alfred personality.
